Dr Tristan Cogan is a co-investigator on the project and is Lecturer in Infectious Disease at the University of Bristol’s School of Veterinary Science. Previously a Clinical Scientist with the Public Health Laboratory Service and subsequently the Health Protection Agency, his research background is in the interaction of microbes with their environment.
