Jonathan Breton is a research associate within the Computational and Systems Medicine Section of the Department of Surgery and Cancer. His PhD research has focused on the impact of gut microbiota proteins in the physiological regulation of feeding behaviour and their interactions in eating disorders. Jonathan will perform metabolic profiling experiments of the Bovmycotox project, under the supervision of Dr Jonathan Swann, Senior Lecturer in Microbiomics and Human Development.

Jonathan was awarded a PhD in Cellular Biology from Normandy University, Rouen, France in 2016 and his researches were awarded by the French Academy of Science for “Major French advancement in biology” in 2016.
