The Project Objectives

The project has 4 key objectives, looking at the following:

1. Mycotoxin effects on ruminal gasto-intestinal epithelium cells in vitro
2. Effect of diet and binders on ruminal metabolism of mycotoxins
3. Ruminal mycotoxin metabolites effect on ruminal gastro-intestinal epithelium cells in vitro
4. Metabonomic study of mycotoxin toxcitiy of maize silage in dairy calves
